Silane cross-linked polyethylene is crafted by grafting silane onto polyethylene followed by hydrolysis and polycondensation, forming a robust three-dimensional network. This significantly enhances material performance. Compared to non-cross-linked polyethylene, cross-linked polyethylene offers: Extended service life in higher temperatures, superior aging resistance, enhanced creep resistance, excellent chemical and impact resistance, outstanding wear resistance, superior rapid crack spread resistance, exceptional slow crack growth resistance, and enhanced environmental stress cracking resistance.
