In the field of automotive manufacturing, modified PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) is widely used in multiple key components such as car wiper brackets, car headlight trim rings, car transmission gearboxes, windshield top columns, and motor housings due to its excellent mechanical properties, heat resistance and dimensional stability.

Connectors serve as Bridges between signals and are indispensable components for transmitting electronic signals and power connections. Electronic connectors or plug-in products are mainly made of (15-30%) glass fiber reinforced PBT materials. PBT is widely adopted due to its excellent mechanical properties, solvent resistance, formability and low price.

The second major application of PBT in electronic products is as a cooling fan. A cooling fan is placed inside a machine and rotates for a long time to help dissipate heat. It requires plastic physical properties such as heat resistance, flame retardancy, insulation, and mechanical strength. PBT is usually modified with 30% glass fiber and used as the outer frame and fan blades of a cooling fan.
