PC/PBT Alloy

PC/PBT is a composite material made through the granulation process of polycarbonate (PC) and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), which combines the room-temperature rigidity and toughness of PC with the temperature stability advantages of PBT. This material features high surface hardness, high-temperature deformation resistance and stress cracking resistance, and its mechanical properties lie between those of the two base materials. By adding modifiers such as glass fiber and antistatic agents, dimensional stability can be enhanced or special functions (such as UV resistance and flame retardancy) can be endowed . It is mainly applied in the manufacturing fields of automotive parts, electronic appliances and industrial parts.

It is used to manufacture components such as engine hoods, exhaust pipe brackets, door handles and bumpers. Its high-temperature resistance can meet the long-term usage requirements in the cabin at 130℃. 

Applied to precision components such as connector housings and circuit breaker shells, its dimensional stability (shrinkage rate of glass fiber reinforced models ≤0.5%) ensures assembly accuracy. 

Manufacturing OA equipment fans, lighting lampshades and other frequently moving components, with a bending strength of ≥90MPa to extend service life.
